Why be interested in Kotlin? Because Kotlin is a pragmatic language: easy to learn, supported by great tools and available on different platforms.
During the presentation we will see what features of Kotlin make it more practical than languages such as Java. Features such as data classes, excellent lambda support and the “when” operator for pattern matching.
In addition to some aspects of the syntax we will also try to understand what elements are facilitating adoption and how Kotlin can be useful in multi-platform projects.
